Thank you so much for putting this together Jaye!

Not to be that guy, but two little corrections:

1. Life and Fate by Grossman is there twice

2. Dostoevsky's The Possessed and Demons are both listed, however these are the same book. Translators have debated over what the correct English translation should be.

Looking forward to discussing 1948 with everyone!

Same!! Jon Podhoretz called it "the greatest novel about politics ever written" last year in the Commentary episode about Luigi Mangione

I have read a ton of these, and didn’t vote for any personal re-reads…..

EXCEPT for the Boethius idk who you are but whoever put Boethius on this list needs to be my new BFF yes I totally want to re-read it this time maybe in Latin because I am insane let’s do it
