Bootleg merch, and a chat thread.

Good evening, goons and goblins. I hope everyone is getting excited about our in-person meeting opportunity in Chicago this coming weekend. I’ve seen a few comments on previous posts but I wanted to create a devoted location to chat/plan and showcase some bootleg merch that will be for sale.

First, bookclub pins and stickers featuring our favorite snek, made up special to serve as our bookclub mascot. These short-run pins (pictured below) cost a little more to make, and there are only 8 available so I’m asking for 5 bucks. DM if you wanna reserve one or just carry cash and push your fellow bookclubbers out of the way. The sticker version is “a few for a dollar” and are perfectly sized to cover up any unremovable “now a movie” sticker and/or to express to friends and strangers alike via your laptop, water bottle, kindle, etc. that you and your internet friends are NOT virgin losers and are VERY cool.

Also pictured below are $5 pins featuring our less *challenged* snek. A perfect companion for those interested in THE premier bootleg merch poster featured by Matt Welch in Firehose #103 (poster also pictured below). Nika Scothorne, aka Not a True Scotsman, is charging a BARGAIN $25 (cash preferred) for these gorgeous limited-run babies, numbered 1 - 100¹. You’ll also walk away with a sweet little explainer card so, again, you can prove to your IRL friends how friggin rad your internet friends are. I’ll be selling on Friday; meet the artist Saturday.
